Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Bed covers – preliminary affirmative CVD determination on truck bed covers from China and new CVD cash deposit requirement at rates of 8.72 to 100.95 percent

Hydraulic cylinders – institution of AD and CVD injury investigations of linear hydraulic cylinders from Canada, China, India, Mexico, and South Korea

R-32 – sunset review determination that revocation of AD order on difluoromethane (R-32) from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time; as a result, this order will remain in effect

Steel pipe – initiation of sunset reviews of the AD and CVD orders on seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from China, which will result in the revocation or continuation of these orders

Thermal paper – dumping margins of zero and 0.76 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on thermal paper from Germany for the period Nov. 1, 2023, through Oct. 31, 2024
