Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Chassis – determination of reasonable suspicion of evasion of AD/CV duty orders on chassis and subassemblies thereof from China and imposition of interim measures against importer, including suspension of liquidation, live entry, and review of continuous bond

Lumber – (1) dumping margins of 5.32 to 10.44 percent in final results of administrative review of softwood lumber products from Canada for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2022, and (2) net subsidy rates of 3.88 to 9.61 percent in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on such goods for the same period

Magnesium metal – determination of reasonable suspicion of evasion of AD duty order on magnesium metal from China and imposition of interim measures against importer, including suspension of liquidation, live entry, and review of review of continuous bond

Mattresses – final affirmative AD injury determinations on mattresses from India, Kosovo, Mexico, and Spain

Silicomanganese – sunset review determination that revocation of AD duty orders on silicomanganese from India, Kazakhstan, and Venezuela would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 20.53 percent for India, 247.88 percent for Kazakhstan, and 24.62 percent for Venezuela
