The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. Aluminum sheet – initiation of country-wide inquiry to determine whether imports of aluminum sheet produced from aluminum alloy 4017 are circumventing the AD/CV duty orders on common alloy aluminum sheet from China
MSG – final determination that PT. Daesang Ingredients Indonesia is the successor-in-interest to PT. Miwon Indonesia and should be assigned the same AD cash deposit rate under the AD duty order on monosodium glutamate from Indonesia (currently 1.6 percent)
Pipes and tubes – preliminary determination that welded carbon steel standard pipes and tubes completed in Oman and the United Arab Emirates from hot-rolled steel produced in India are not circumventing the AD duty order on pipe and tube from India
Scope rulings – scope rulings and anti-circumvention determinations made from April 1 through June 30 with respect to the following AD/CV duty orders
- crystalline silicon photovoltaic products from China (AD/CV)
- metal lockers and parts thereof from China (AD/CV)
- raw flexible magnets from China (AD/CV)
- softwood lumber from Canada (AD/CV)
- stainless steel sheet and strip from China (AD/CV)
- steel wheels 12 to 16.5 inches in diameter from China (AD/CV)
- wood moldings and millwork products from China (AD/CV)
- wooden cabinets and vanities and components thereof from China (AD/CV)
