The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact attorney Lee Sandler via email or at (305) 894-1000.

Base stations – termination without import restrictions of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1302 of cellular base station communication equipment, components thereof, and products containing same based on a settlement

Evaporators – in investigation 337-TA-1311, issuance of (1) limited exclusion order barring entry of centrifuge utility platform and falling film evaporator systems and components thereof that are imported by or on behalf of the six remaining defaulting respondents and (2) cease and desist orders to three of those six respondents

Thermostats – termination without import restrictions of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1339 of smart thermostat hubs, systems containing the same, and components of the same following withdrawal of the complaint by EDST LLC and Quext IoT LLC
