The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.
Alcohol – sunset review determination that revocation of AD order on tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time; the order will therefore remain in place
Disposable containers – (1) preliminary determinations that imports of disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids completed in Thailand or Vietnam using aluminum foil produced in China are circumventing the AD and CVD orders on aluminum containers from China and (2) instruction to suspend liquidation and require cash deposits on unliquidated entries of inquiry goods that were entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Oct. 28, 2024
Fertilizers – net subsidy rate of 12.71 percent in final results of administrative review of CVD order on phosphate fertilizers from Russia for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023
Lithium – withdrawal of AD and CVD petitions on lithium hexafluorophosphate from China
Rebar – final affirmative AD injury determination on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Algeria; an AD order will be issued as a result
