Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Flat-rolled steel – continuation of AD duty order on diffusion-annealed, nickel-plated, flat-rolled steel products from Japan, effective March 31

Lumber – (1) net subsidy rates of 11.87 to 16.57 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CV duty order on softwood lumber products from Canada for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023, and (2) rescission of review with respect to 46 companies and instruction to CBP to assess CV duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Melamine – issuance of AD and CV duty orders on melamine from India, effective April 9, with cash deposit rates of 506.81 and 626.27 percent

Polymers – dumping margin of zero in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on superabsorbent polymers from Korea for the period June 7, 2022, through Nov. 30, 2023

Transformers – dumping margins of zero and 16.87 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on large power transformers from Korea for the period Aug. 1, 2022, through July 31, 2023
