Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Ferrosilicon – (1) final affirmative AD and CV duty determinations on ferrosilicon from Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia, (2) dumping margins of 0.78 to 21.78 percent for Brazil, 6.01 to 6.2 percent for Kazakhstan, and 5.13 to 21.26 percent for Malaysia, and (3) net subsidy rates of 4.44 to 61.73 percent for Brazil, 16.75 and 265.38 percent for Kazakhstan, and 2.78 to 3.48 percent for Malaysia

File folders – preliminary affirmative CV duty determination on paper file folders from Cambodia and new CV cash deposit requirement at rate of 21.53 percent

Lined paper – dumping margins of zero and 1.07 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on lined paper products from India for the period Sept. 1, 2022, through Aug. 31, 2023

New reviews – initiation of administrative reviews of the following AD/CV duty orders for the periods Feb. 1, 2024, through Jan. 31, 2025 (AD) or Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024 (CV), unless otherwise noted

- brass rod from India (CV; Sept. 29, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2024)

- crystalline silicon photovoltaic products from China and Taiwan

- cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from Korea

- frozen warmwater shrimp from China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam

- gas-powered pressure washers from China (AD, Aug. 3, 2023, through Jan. 31, 2025; and CV, June 5, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2024)

- large residential washers from Mexico

- lemon juice from Brazil and South Africa

- small-diameter graphite electrodes from China

- sodium nitrite from India

- stainless steel bar from India

- stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Italy and Malaysia

- truck and bus tires from China

- utility-scale wind towers from China and Vietnam

- wood moldings and millwork products from China
