Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Electrical steel – dumping margin of 204.79 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on non-oriented electrical steel from Japan for the period Dec. 1, 2022, through Nov. 30, 2023

Mechanical tubing – dumping margins of 2.44 and 2.47 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on cold-drawn mechanical tubing of carbon and alloy steel from India for the period June 1, 2022, through May 31, 2023

Plastic boxes – initiation of AD duty investigation of polypropylene corrugated boxes from China and Vietnam and CV duty investigation of such boxes from China, effective April 7

Violet pigment – net subsidy rates of 3.36 to 8.7 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CV duty order on carbazole violet pigment 23 from India for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2022

Wire strand – dumping margin of 3.44 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on pre-stressed concrete steel wire strand from Spain for the period June 1, 2022, through May 31, 2023
