The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Administrative reviews – initiation of administrative reviews of the following AD/CV duty orders for the periods March 1, 2024, through Feb. 28, 2025 (AD) or Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024 (CV), unless otherwise noted; these reviews could result in changes in AD/CV duty rates on imports of subject goods

- acetone from Korea (AD)

- carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Ukraine (AD)

- circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand (AD) and Türkiye (CV)

- corrosion inhibitors from China (AD/CV)

- frozen warmwater shrimp from India (AD; Feb. 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025)

- granular polytetrafluoroethylene resin from India (AD/CV)

- new pneumatic off-the-road tires from India (AD/CV)

- uncoated paper from Portugal (AD)

- vertical shaft engines from China (AD)

Grinding media – final affirmative AD and CV duty determinations on high-chrome cast iron grinding media from India, with dumping margin of 9.58 percent and net subsidy rate of 3.16 percent

Scope rulings – announcement of scope rulings and circumvention determinations made between Jan. 1 and March 31, 2025, with respect to the following AD/CV duty orders

- aluminum extrusions from China (AD/CV)

- boltless steel shelving units prepackaged for sale from China (AD/CV)

- hand trucks and parts thereof from China (AD)

- steel racks and parts thereof from China (AD/CV)

- steel wheels from China (AD/CV)

- sugar from Mexico (AD/CV)

- wood moldings and millwork products from China (AD/CV)

Silicon metal – institution of AD injury investigations of silicon metal from Angola, Australia, Laos, Norway, and Thailand and CV injury investigations of silicon metal from Australia, Laos, Norway and Thailand, with preliminary determinations due by June 9

Solar cells – intent to revoke AD duty orders on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, whether or not assembled into modules, from China and Taiwan, and CV duty order on such goods from China, with respect to certain small, low-wattage, off-grid cells
