Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Acetone – dumping margin of 1.43 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on acetone from South Korea for the period March 1, 2024, through Feb. 28, 2025

Chassis – final affirmative AD and CVD injury determinations on chassis and subassemblies from Mexico, Thailand, and Vietnam; as a result, AD and CVD orders on such goods will be issued

Mobile access equipment – net subsidy rate of 36.49 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CVD order on mobile access equipment and subassemblies thereof from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023

Shopping bags – rescission of administrative review of AD order on paper shopping bags from Portugal for the period Jan. 3, 2024, through June 30, 2025, and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Steel tubing – dumping margins of 0.91 and 4.58 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on cold-drawn mechanical tubing of carbon and alloy steel from India for the period June 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024
