CBP announces that palm oil imports from a major oil producer in Malaysia will no longer be subject to forced labor detentions. Resolving this issue took over two years and it is a new reminder that CBP expects importers and exporters to be proactive in monitoring supply chains and ensuring that the right set of policies, audits, and remediation producers are in place to prevent forced labor.
