While the war of words and actions continues to escalate between the U.S. and China, another trade conflict is simmering – between the U.S. and the EU. U.S. tariffs on EU steel and aluminum remain, as do tariffs on EU goods subject to Section 301 retaliation against EU subsidies of their aircraft industry. Now a new phase is poised to begin – a change in the list of products subject to tariffs. The comment period on this new list are set to begin later this month.
