Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The State Department has received an application from the Texas Department of Transportation for an amended presidential permit to construct a second bridge for southbound traffic on the U.S.-Mexico border at Presidio, Texas, and Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. State will determine whether a second bridge would serve the national interest based on a number of factors, including foreign policy; environmental, cultural, and economic impacts; compliance with applicable law and regulations; and other issues. Comments on this application are due no later than Oct. 27.
