Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Justice Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is accepting comments through June 1 on records of acquisition and disposition by registered importers of arms, ammunition, and implements of war on the U.S. Munitions List. Importers must register with ATF and file an intent to import specific items as well as certify that the items were in fact received. The records are maintained at the registrant’s business premises, where they are available for inspection by ATF officers during compliance inspections or criminal investigations.
