Virtual Customs Broker Exam Prep Course - October 2020 Exam

July 27 - September 24, 2020
Time: 6:00 pm EDT - 8:30 pm EDT
Cost: $950.00

This course is designed to prepare attendees to take and pass the customs broker examination, but its extensive overview of the customs brokerage/import process makes it also a great option for those looking for training in this field.

Since the most important factor in passing the exam is the amount of time spent on preparation, this course includes 40 hours of class instruction on topics such as broker regulations, entry, classification, valuation, free trade agreements, antidumping/countervailing duty, fines, penalties and forfeitures, bonds, country of origin marking, liquidation, search and seizure, and intellectual property. A manual, required U.S. Customs directives, copies of past examinations, and additional hand-out materials are provided to help students in their studies. There is also a significant amount of homework, including practice exams, so attendees will likely end up with close to 100 hours of class-related work.

Course Schedule

Classes begin on Monday, July 27 and will meet online every Monday and Thursday night from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The final class will be on Thursday, September 24.

This webinar based course can be taken from a computer at any location.
