The Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is accepting comments through May 26 on the proposed revision and extension of information collections associated with the regulations for the importation of the following.

- a variety of fruits and vegetables from Belgium, Central America, China, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Jerusalem, the Netherlands, South America and Trinidad and Tobago, which require phytosanitary certificates

- peppers from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, which require inspections by national plant protection organization officials of the country of export; a bilateral workplan; production site registration; fruit fly trapping, monitoring, quality control program and recordkeeping; box labeling; and a phytosanitary certificate
