The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Fish fillets – preliminary determination in new shipper review of AD duty order on certain frozen fish fillets from Vietnam that the sale made by May Import Export Company Limited during the period Aug. 1, 2022, through Jan. 31, 2023, was a bona fide sale that was not made below normal value

Nails – dumping margins of 26.28 percent and 78.17 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on certain steel nails from Taiwan for the period July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, final determination of no shipments with respect to four companies, and final determination of no reviewable sales with respect to three companies

Paper plates – institution of AD injury investigations on paper plates from China, Thailand, and Vietnam and CV injury investigations on paper plates from China and Vietnam, with questionnaires due by Jan. 29, a staff conference to be held Feb. 15, written briefs due by Feb. 21, and the preliminary injury vote scheduled for March 8

Staples – final determinations that imports of certain collated steel staples exported from Thailand or Vietnam using inputs (i.e., steel wire and wire bands) made in China are circumventing the AD and CV duty orders on collated steel staples from China

Steel plate – dumping margins of zero and 2.45 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on certain carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from Italy for the period May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023

Steel products – subsidy rates of 0.82 percent, 1.60 percent, and 6.48 percent in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on certain corrosion-resistant steel products from Korea for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2021, and review rescission with respect to four companies

Sunset reviews – initiation of sunset reviews of the following AD/CV duty orders, which will result in either the revocation or continuation of these orders:

- crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells and modules from China (AD/CV)

- large diameter welded pipe from Canada (AD), China (AD/CV), Greece (AD), India (AD/CV), Korea (AD/CV), and Turkey (AD/CV)

- plastic decorative ribbons from China (AD/CV)

- sodium hexametaphosphate from China (AD)
