The Bureau of Industry and Security has issued orders suspending the export privileges of the following individuals and companies convicted of knowingly and willfully attempting to export defense articles without the required license or written authorization from the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.

- through May 7, 2018, for a Virginia man who attempted to export ammunition to Jordan (previously sentenced to a $25,000 criminal fine, a $100 assessment, six months home confinement and a two-year probation term)

- through Sept. 15, 2024, for a man currently incarcerated in Texas who exported grenade launcher barrels to Mexico (previously sentenced to 75 months imprisonment, three years of supervised release and a $100 assessment)

- through Dec. 18, 2022, for a man currently incarcerated in Florida who attempted to export firearm barrels, receivers, components, parts and accessories to Honduras (previously sentenced to 37 months imprisonment, two years of supervised release and a $200 assessment)

- through Oct. 28, 2023, for a Washington state company that exported technical data covered under category XII(f) of the U.S. Munitions List (previously sentenced to a $300,000 criminal fine, a $400 assessment and three years of probation)

- through Sept. 10, 2024, for a man currently incarcerated in Minnesota for exporting F-16 jet canopy seals to Venezuela

As a result, until the dates specified above, neither these entities nor anyone on their behalf may directly or indirectly participate in any way in any transaction involving any commodity, software or technology exported or to be exported from the U.S. that is subject to the Export Administration Regulations.

BIS is also revoking all export licenses in which these entities had an interest at the time of their convictions.
