The following Bureau of Industry and Security technical advisory committees, which advise BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to specific products, have scheduled partially open meetings in Washington, D.C. The open session of each meeting will be available via teleconference to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis, and requests to participate in this manner are due by the dates indicated. In addition, a limited number of seats will be available at each open session, but reservations are not accepted.

- The Transportation and Related Equipment TAC will meet May 9 to discuss working group reports (requests to participate via teleconference due by May 2).

- The Materials TAC will meet May 10 to discuss ThreatSEQ (a program to analyze DNA sequences of concern) and hear reports from regime representatives (requests to participate via teleconference due by May 3).

- The Materials Processing Equipment TAC will meet May 15 to discuss (a) results and proposals from the last Wassenaar Arrangement meeting and (b) proposed and recently issued changes to the Export Administration Regulations (requests to participate via teleconference due by May 8).
