Background

U.S. Customs and Border Protection indicates that additional functionality is now available in the modernized Automated Commercial Environment secure data portal. Phase 4 of the ACE portal modernization is expected to continue through September and ACE portal functionality will be migrated to the modernized platform gradually.

According to CBP, trade users can now create and edit basic account data (tabs for Details, Contacts, and Addresses) for the Surety, Corporate Surety Power of Attorney (CSPOA), Protest Filer, Exporter, Vessel Agent, and Importer account types. In addition, trade users can now create and edit additional account supporting data for the following account types:

- Carrier - Conveyances: Add/Download/Remove Ocean Conveyance, Conveyance Template/Bulk Upload, and Conveyance Vessel History

- Surety: CSPOA

- Facility Operator: Employees, Officials, Documents, FTZ GP Sites (Documents), and Subzone Sites (Documents)
