SANDRA SCOTT is an Independent Consultant, Logistics and Automation, for Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A.
Ms. Scott brings to the firm more than 40 years of entrepreneurial, administration, and operations management experience in supply chains, shipping, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and regulatory compliance. Most significantly she served as owner of a supply chain consultancy, global director of a multinational logistics company, and director of international relations for a North American ground transportation company. She was also involved in the design and development of initiatives like CTPAT, ACE, and ITDS. Her expertise includes analyzing cross-border systems and operations, implementing automated logistics solutions, supporting supply chain security programs for transportation intermediaries, and developing programs for compliance with DOT, FMC, FMCSA, and TSA regulatory requirements.
Ms. Scott’s distinguished career has included serving twice on U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Commercial Operations Advisory Committee and in leadership positions for CBP’s Trade Support Network. She was one of only two trade individuals appointed to the ITDS Board of Directors and co-chaired a committee that helped develop CTPAT’s minimum security criteria. She received the Hammer Award from Vice President Al Gore for her innovative work with the Automated Export System at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Ms. Scott is a licensed customs broker, a frequent public speaker, and a recognized authority on air, land, and ocean transportation and logistics.
