NICOLE BING LI is Senior Manager, Customs and International Trade, for Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Limited, resident in the firm’s Guangzhou office. She advises multinational companies on a wide range of international trade matters, including China-related import and export compliance. Her areas of expertise include China export control regulations, country of origin analysis, and Section 301 tariff mitigation strategies.
Ms. Li also plays a key role in the firm’s First Sale Valuation practice, where she has successfully implemented duty savings programs for clients across various industries. She regularly assists clients in navigating complex customs valuation issues, structuring compliant supply chains, and preparing documentation to support their first sale program.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Li served as a supervisor at an import and export company in Guangzhou, where she gained hands-on experience with China Customs regulations and operational procedures. This background gives her a practical understanding of the challenges faced by businesses operating in cross-border trade.
Ms. Li holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Jinan University in Guangzhou. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
