MICHELLE HAN is a Manager, Customs & International Trade Consulting, for Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Limited, resident in the Firm’s Hong Kong office. Ms. Han provides strategic advice to companies on China customs-related issues and duty savings under the first sale rule.
Prior to joining ST&R Limited, Ms. Han worked with a cooperative legal firm to handle trade disputes and mitigate legal risks. She has in-depth experience with commodity trading and has liaised regularly with multinational commodity trading companies. She also has extensive experience conducting due diligence checks of new customers in a wealth management company. Her expertise includes cross-border trade operations, structured trade finance, loan syndication, letter of credit, China Customs clearance, and vessel clearance.
Ms. Han has a master’s degree in law from the University of Hong Kong, a master’s degree in economics from City University of Hong Kong, and a bachelor’s degree in international economics and trade from South China University of Technology.
