CHRISTINA LEONARD is a Senior Associate with Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg. Her practice is focused on international trade and customs laws and regulations.

Ms. Leonard counsels corporate clients on cost-saving strategies such as first sale, duty drawback and duty deferral, strategic responses to Section 232 and Section 301 tariffs, and the use of bonded warehouse facilities. Her advocacy for clients before federal agencies has covered topics such as tariff classification, valuation, protests and prior disclosures. 

Prior to joining ST&R, Ms. Leonard served as an associate with an international trade and customs law firm, where her work included representing corporate clients in U.S. Customs audits and penalty cases. While attending law school she worked as a legal intern to the U.S. Court of International Trade and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Before becoming an attorney, she was an associate at an economic consulting firm, Charles River Associates. 

Ms. Leonard is a member of the bar in the states of New York and New Jersey and is admitted to appear before the U.S. Court of International Trade. She holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. from Wellesley College.
