AD/CVD News: Aluminum Foil, Olives, Steel Plate, Tubular Goods, Wind Towers

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Aluminum foil – dumping margin of 0.76 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on aluminum foil from Oman for the period Nov. 1, 2023, through Oct. 31, 2024

Olives – net subsidy rate of 4.57 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CVD order on ripe olives from Spain for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024

Steel plate – (1) net subsidy rates of 1.39 and 1.89 percent in final results of administrative review of CVD order on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from South Korea for the period Jan. 1 through Dec 31, 2024, and (2) net subsidy rate of 0.8 percent in amended final results of administrative review of this order for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2021

Tubular goods – preliminary affirmative AD determinations on oil country tubular goods from Austria, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates and new AD cash deposit requirements at rates of 47.21 percent for Austria, 51.19 to 54.74 percent for Taiwan, and 61.45 to 68.88 percent for the UAE

Wind towers – sunset review determinations that (1) revocation of AD orders on utility-scale wind towers from India, Malaysia, and Spain would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 54.03 percent for India, 3.2 percent for Malaysia, and 73.0 percent for Spain, and (2) revocation of CVD order on such goods from India would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at levels of 2.25 and 397.7 percenta
