AD/CV News: Engines, Ribbons, Pipe, Tubing, Steel Wire Rod

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. Engines – final determination that vertical shaft engines with displacements between 60 cc and up to 99cc produced in China and exported to the U.S. are circumventing the AD and CV duty orders on vertical shaft engines between 99cc and up to 225cc, and parts thereof, from China by means of being merchandise altered in form or appearance in minor respects

Ribbons – net subsidy rate of 13.16 percent for one company in amended final results of administrative review of CV duty order on narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2016

Steel pipe – dumping margin of 1.18 percent in amended final results of administrative review of AD duty order on circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from the United Arab Emirates for the period Dec. 1, 2017, through Nov. 30, 2018

Steel tubing – dumping margins of 1.39 and 1.59 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on cold-drawn mechanical tubing of carbon and alloy steel from India for the periods Nov. 22, 2017, through May 31, 2019, and June 1, 2019, through May 31, 2020, respectively

Steel wire rod – preliminary determination that U.S. imports of stainless steel round wire from Vietnam are not circumventing the AD duty order on stainless steel wire rod from Korea
