AD/CVD News: Chromium Trioxide, End Blocks, Nails, Paper Bags, Steel

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Chromium trioxide – final affirmative CVD determination on chromium trioxide from India, with net subsidy rate of 29.35 percent

Corrosion-resistant steel – (1) dumping margins of 19.43 to 23.4 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD order on corrosion-resistant steel products from South Korea for the period July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, and (2) net subsidy rates of 0.58 to 4.82 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CVD order on such goods for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024

End blocks – dumping margin of zero in final results of administrative review of AD order on forged steel fluid end blocks from Germany for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024

Nails – dumping margins of zero and 3.07 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD order on steel nails from South Korea for the period July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025

Paper bags – dumping margins of 6.47 percent for Colombia, 1.23 to 3.01 percent for India, 2.16 percent for Malaysia, and zero for Taiwan in preliminary results of administrative reviews of AD orders on paper shopping bags from these countries for the period Jan. 3, 2024, through June 30, 2025
