Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Chromium trioxide – preliminary affirmative CVD determination on chromium trioxide from India and new CVD cash deposit requirement at rate of 2.44 percent

Ether glycol – corrected notice of initiation of AD investigations of polytetramethylene ether glycol from Chin, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam

Hot-rolled steel – dumping margins of 1.22 and 1.49 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on hot-rolled steel flat products from South Korea for the period Oct. 1, 2023, through Sept. 30, 2024

Pipe and tube – dumping margin of 9.31 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on circular welded carbon steel standard pipe and tube products from Türkiye for the period May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024

Quartz products – rescission of administrative review of AD order on quartz surface products from China for the period July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates
