Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.

Anode material – final negative AD and CVD injury determinations on active anode material from China; AD and CVD orders will therefore not be issued

Fencing – final affirmative AD and CVD determinations on temporary steel fencing from China, dumping margins of 129.7 and 184.27 percent, net subsidy rates of 49.19 and 178.97 percent, and final affirmative determinations of critical circumstances in part

Lawn groomers – continuation of AD order on tow-behind lawn groomers and parts thereof from China, effective March 10

Rebar – sunset review determination that revocation of CVD order on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Türkiye would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at rates of 6.58 and 7.71 percent

Tires – dumping margins of 41.36 and 87.99 percent in amended final results of administrative review of AD order on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from China for the period Aug. 1, 2016, through July 31, 2017
