U.S. Customs and Border Protection has adjusted the following customs user fees and limitations for fiscal year 2025 and will require these adjusted fees as of Oct. 1, 2024.
- customs broker permit: $180.57 (up from $163.71)
- express consignment carrier/centralized hub facility, per individual waybill/bill of lading: minimum $0.46 (up from 0.42) and maximum $1.31 (up from $1.19)
- merchandise processing: minimum $32.71 (up from $29.66) and maximum $634.62 (up from $575.35)
- surcharge for manual entry or release: $3.93 (up from $3.56)
- informal entry or release not prepared by CBP personnel: $2.62 automated (up from $2.37) and $7.85 manual (up from $7.12)
- informal entry or release prepared by CBP personnel: $11.78 (up from $10.68)
- commercial vessel arrival: $571.81 per arrival (up from $518.41) and $7,792.05 annual cap (up from $7,064.34)
- barge and other bulk carrier arrival: $143.93 per arrival (up from $130.49) and $1,962.73 annual cap (up from $1,779.43)
- commercial truck arrival: $7.20 per arrival (up from $6.50) and $130.85 annual cap (up from $118.63)
- rail car arrival: $10.80 per arrival (up from $9.79) and $130.85 annual cap (up from $118.63)
- dutiable mail: $7.50 (up from $6.52)
- commercial vessel or aircraft passenger arrival: $7.20 (up from $6.52)
