U.S. Customs and Border Protection has increased the following customs user fees for fiscal year 2026, which will be required as of Oct. 1, 2026.
- customs broker permit: $190.88 (up from $185.38)
- express consignment carrier/centralized hub facility, per individual waybill/bill of lading: minimum $0.48 (up from $0.47) and maximum $1.38 (up from $1.34)
- merchandise processing: minimum $34.58 (up from $33.58) and maximum $670.86 (up from $651.50)
- surcharge for manual entry or release: $4.15 (up from $4.03)
- informal entry or release not prepared by CBP personnel: $2.77 automated (up from $2.69) and $8.30 manual (up from $8.06)
- informal entry or release prepared by CBP personnel: $12.45 (up from $12.09)
- commercial vessel arrival: $604.47 per arrival (up from $587.03) and $8,237.06 annual cap (up from $7,999.40)
- barge and other bulk carrier arrival: $152.15 per arrival (up from $147.76) and $2,074.83 annual cap (up from $2,014.96)
- commercial truck arrival: $7.60 per arrival (up from $7.35) and $138.32 annual cap (up from $134.33)
- rail car arrival: $11.41 per arrival (up from $11.08) and $138.32 annual cap (up from $134.33)
- dutiable mail: $7.61 (up from $7.39)
- commercial vessel or aircraft passenger arrival: $7.61 (up from $7.39)
