AD/CVD News: DOTP, Engines, Pipe, Pulp, Rail Couplers

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

DOTP – corrected notice of AD orders on dioctyl terephthalate from Malaysia, Poland, Taiwan, and Türkiye

Engines – sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CVD orders on small vertical shaft engines from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time

Pipe – institution of AD and CVD injury investigations of seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from Georgia and India

Pulp – final affirmative AD determinations on high-purity dissolving pulp from Brazil and Norway, with dumping margins           of 6.5 percent and 6.51 percent, respectively, and final affirmative CVD determination on such pulp from Brazil, with net subsidy rate of 9.37 percent

Rail couplers – final affirmative AD injury determinations on freight rail couplers from the Czech Republic and India and final affirmative CVD injury determination on such goods from India
