AD/CVD News: Aluminum Foil, Electrical Steel, Mobile Access Equipment, Rebar, Sugar

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.

Aluminum foil – dumping margin of 42.13 percent in amended final results of administrative review of AD order on aluminum foil from Oman for the period Nov. 1, 2022, through Oct. 31, 2023

Electrical steel – dumping margin of 47.8 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on non-oriented electrical steel from Japan for the period Dec. 1, 2022, through Nov. 30, 2023

Mobile access equipment – net subsidy rate of 32.26 percent in final results of administrative review of CVD order on mobile access equipment and subassemblies thereof from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2022

Rebar – preliminary affirmative AD determination on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Algeria, with new AD cash deposit requirement at rate of 127.32 percent

Sugar – in final results of administrative review of suspended AD investigation of sugar from Mexico for the period Dec. 1, 2022, through Nov. 30, 2023, determination that one respondent did not comply with the requirement to eliminate at least 85 percent of the dumping found in the investigation and determination to implement certain steps to address this noncompliance
