AARON HARTING is an associate with Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., resident in the Houston office. He assists clients with a range of customs and trade matters, including tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, trade remedies, export controls, duty mitigation, and interactions with regulatory agencies.
Prior to joining STR, Mr. Harting served as a trade attorney with a Houston-area firm, where his work included representing importers customs compliance and enforcement actions as well as advising businesses on preferential trade programs, penalty exposure, supply chain risk, and trade remedy proceedings.
Mr. Harting holds a J.D. from the South Texas College of Law and a B.A. in history and Russian from the University of Oklahoma. He is admitted to practice before the Court of International Trade and a member of the bar in the state of Texas.
