Export Control Reform, Trusted Traders, Regulations Among Topics of Upcoming Meetings

The President’s Export Council Subcommittee on Export Administration will hold an open meeting March 16 in Washington, D.C. The agenda for this meeting includes updates on the Export Control Reform Initiative, data transmission and security, process improvements and the Trusted Trader program.

The Bureau of Industry and Security’s Regulations and Procedures Technical Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting March 23 in Washington, D.C. The agenda for the public session of this meeting includes updates on export enforcement, regulations and the Automated Export System.

Each of these meetings will be accessible via teleconference to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis, and requests to participate are due no later than March 9 and March 16, respectively. In addition, a limited number of seats will be available at each meeting, but reservations are not accepted.
