The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.

Cleaners – new IPR infringement complaint filed on surface cleaning devices and components thereof (complainants SharkNinja Operating LLC, Omachron Alpha Inc., and Omachron Intellectual Property Inc.; proposed respondents located in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the U.S.)

Fiber optics – institution of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1399 of fiber optic connectors, adapters, jump cables, patch cords, products containing the same, and components thereof (complainant US Conec Ltd.; respondents located in Japan, Ireland, Taiwan, Germany, China, and the U.S.)

Video processors – termination without import restrictions of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1341 of video processing devices and products containing the same based on finding of no Section 337 violation
