Job Description
ST&R is seeking an export attorney (5 plus years in trade controls required) with a strong background in EAR, ITAR and OFAC matters. The successful candidate will have experience in researching and analyzing the regulations, export and sanctions licensing prep and management, screening, export jurisdiction and classification, policy and process drafting and implementation, training, and deemed exports.
This role requires strong interpersonal, time management and data analysis skills. The attorney must be comfortable with direct contact with clients and have the ability to prioritize client requests and meet deadlines. In addition, the attorney must have the ability to work independently but with support and direction from the team leader and other subject matter experts and attorneys on the team.
Depending on experience, permanent remote work is a possibility for this position.
