The Biden administration is proposing to impose additional Section 301 duties on $18 billion worth of imports from China. Moreover, former President Trump is floating the idea of a 10 percent tariff on all imports from all countries starting in 2025 as well as tariffs of 60 percent or more on at least certain imports from China.
