The U.S. Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR) provide for the export filing process that all U.S. exporters must consult before exporting from the U.S. The FTR control when a filing is required, the timing of the filing, the required information in the filing, and which party can perform the filing. The process for identifying and reporting errors is addressed through the voluntary self-disclosure provisions of the FTR. This webinar will help exporters feel more comfortable with the U.S. export filing process and understand when and how to make a disclosure when inaccurate data is found.
