About The Webinar

New restrictions have been imposed on exports to Chinese telecom giant Huawei and 68 of its foreign affiliates, and other limitations on exports of information and communications technology and services could be on the horizon. In addition, the Trump administration is constantly revising U.S. economic sanctions against foreign countries and entities.

These and similar actions highlight the need for companies to have a robust, global export screening program that facilitates compliance with U.S. sanctions, laws, and regulations. This webinar will review the essentials of developing and implementing such a program as well as related challenges, including the “50 percent rule” enforced by the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
