Trade in endangered species is about much more than elephant tusks and game trophies. Protections under the Endangered Species Act extend to both plants and animals, including animal byproducts that may be routinely used in research and production. Many companies, particularly in the biopharma, life sciences, and fashion industries, need to be aware of the legal requirements under the ESA that could affect their goods.
This brief introductory webinar will provide an overview of the international treaty on endangered species, U.S. laws and regulations, and how best to comply.
