Background

The Bureau of Industry and Security has issued a final rule that, effective Dec. 27, corrects a number of provisions in the Export Administration Regulations to provide accurate references, fix typographical errors, and amend several export control classification numbers to enhance consistency with other ECCNs. BIS states that these corrections are editorial in nature and do not affect export license requirements. See the attached rule for specific changes.
