Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Line pipe – sunset review determination that revocation of CVD order on welded line pipe from Türkiye would be likely to lead to continuation of recurrence of countervailable subsidies at rates of 1.31 and 152.98 percent

Magnesium – dumping margin of 23.96 percent (down from 25.26 percent) in amended final results of administrative review of AD order on pure magnesium from China for the period May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023

Nails – sunset review determination that revocation of CVD order on steel nails from Vietnam would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at rates of 288.56 to 313.97 percent

Pressure pipe – preliminary affirmative AD injury determinations on welded stainless steel line and pressure pipe from India, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates and preliminary affirmative CVD injury determination on such pipe from India and Türkiye

Request reviews – Sept. 30 deadline to request administrative reviews of the following AD/CVD orders for the periods Sept. 1, 2025, through Aug. 31, 2026 (AD) or Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2025 (CVD), unless otherwise noted

- cold-rolled steel flat products from India (AD/CVD), South Korea (AD/CVD), and the United Kingdom (AD)

- emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber from Brazil, Mexico, Poland, and South Korea  (AD)

- kitchen appliance shelving and racks from China (AD/CVD)

- lined paper products from China (AD) and India (AD/CVD)

- magnesia carbon bricks from China (AD/CVD) and Mexico (AD)

- mattresses form India, Kosovo, Mexico, and Spain (AD)

- methionine from Japan and Spain (AD)

- narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge from China (AD/CVD)and Taiwan (AD)

- oil country tubular goods from India (AD/CVD), South Korea (AD), Türkiye (AD/CVD), and Vietnam  (AD)

- paper file folders from Sri Lanka (AD; May 29, 2025, through Aug. 31, 2026)

- polyethylene terephthalate sheet from South Korea (AD; Sept. 1 through Sept. 9, 2025)

- raw flexible magnets from China (AD/CVD) and Taiwan (AD)

- sol gel alumina-based ceramic abrasive grains from China (AD, June 2, 2025, through Aug. 31, 2026; and CVD, Feb. 3 through Dec. 31, 2025)

- stainless steel wire rod from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan (AD)

- steel concrete reinforcing bars from Belarus, China, Indonesia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine (AD)
