Entity List. The Entity List Verification Act (S. 568, introduced March 3 by Sen. Scott, R-Fla.) would prevent the Department of Commerce from removing an entity from the Entity List unless it certifies to Congress that (1) the entity is no longer involved in activities contrary to U.S. national security or foreign policy interests and (2) such removal does not pose a threat to U.S. allies.

The Keep Huawei on the Entity List Act (H.R. 1595, introduced March 3 by Rep. Steube, R-Fla.) would keep Huawei Technologies Co. on the Entity List and thus continue controls on exports to that company.

Natural Gas. H.R. 1575 (introduced March 3 by Rep. Johnson, R-Ohio) would repeal restrictions on the export and import of natural gas.
