Background

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a final rule extending through March 10, 2026, the import restrictions on archaeological and ecclesiastical ethnological materials from Colombia. Covered materials include large stone sculptures; rock art; ceramic figurines, vessels, and funerary urns; objects of gold and alloys that include gold; articles carved in hard woods; carved and polished archaeological stone articles; articles carved from animal bone; and textiles.
