The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements has determined to remove certain three-thread circular knit fleece fabrics classified in HTSUS subheading 6001.21.0000 from the CAFTA-DR short supply list. The subject fabrics are used for casual knit sportswear such as crew-neck pullovers, zip-front hooded jackets, and elastic-waist and drawstring-waist pull-on pants.

As a result of this removal, textile and apparel articles containing these fabrics are not to be treated as originating in a CAFTA-DR country if those fabrics are obtained from non-CAFTA-DR sources, effective for goods entered into the U.S. on or after Oct. 5.

For more information on adding or removing goods to or from the short supply lists under U.S. free trade agreements, please contact Nicole Bivens Collinson or Mark Tallo.
