Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Mattresses – rescission of inquiry to determination whether mattress components (foam, innersprings, and mattress coves) exported from Poland and further processed and completed in the U.S. to produce mattresses are circumventing the AD order on mattresses from Poland

Plastic boxes – final affirmative AD injury determination on polypropylene corrugated boxes from Vietnam

Tires – (1) sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CVD orders on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from China would likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time and (2) net subsidy rates of 0.5 to 9.3 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CVD order on off-the-road tires from India for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024

Wind towers – dumping margin of 2.93 percent in amended final AD determination and amended AD order on utility-scale wind towers from Canada

Wood moldings – sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CVD orders on wood moldings and millwork products from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time
