The Department of Agriculture reports that the fiscal year 2021 specialty sugar tariff-rate quota has been increased by 40,000 metric tons raw value, bringing the total of this TRQ to 202,000 MTRV. This TRQ is reserved for organic sugar and other specialty sugars not currently produced commercially in the U.S. or reasonably available from domestic sources. The increased amount is reserved for specialty sugar, entry of which will be permitted beginning July 21.
