The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.
Cranes – final affirmative AD injury determination on lattice-boom crawler cranes from Japan; an AD order will therefore be issued on this product
Fertilizer – opportunity for importers and exporters to request that imports of fertilizers from Morocco be entered free of CVD duties
Plastic boxes – final affirmative AD injury determination on polypropylene corrugated boxes from Vietnam; an AD order will therefore be issued on this product
Scope rulings – applications filed in May for rulings on the scope of the following AD/CVD orders
- freight rail couplers and parts thereof from China
- mattresses from Mexico
- mobile access equipment and subassemblies thereof from China
Steel wire rod – preliminary affirmative CVD determination on carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Algeria, with new CVD cash deposit requirement at rate of 73.33 percent
