The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.
Corrosion inhibitors – sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CVD orders on corrosion inhibitors from China would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time; as a result, these orders will remain in force
Esters – initiation of country-wide inquiry to determine whether certain spray foam systems from Canada that are completed or assembled with components produced in China are circumventing the AD and CVD orders on alkyl phosphate esters from China
Plywood – (1) final affirmative AD determinations on hardwood and decorative plywood from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam, with dumping margins of 187.27 percent for China, 15.4 to 84.94 percent for Indonesia, and 90.12 percent for Vietnam, (2) final affirmative CVD determinations on such goods, with net subsidy rates of 88.96 percent for China, 4.22 to 128.66 percent for Indonesia, and 47.68 and 165.39 percent for Vietnam, and (3) final affirmative critical circumstances determinations for China (AD/CVD) and Vietnam (CVD)
Steel plate – dumping margin of zero in preliminary results of administrative review of AD order on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from France for the period May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025
Tires – dumping margins of zero and 2.9 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from Thailand for the period July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024
